The Challenge: Redefining Season 2's Visual Identity

  • Background: Bryan, the host and creator of Flowers and Crowns, sought to enhance the podcast's visual identity for Season 2.

  • Initial Agency Collaboration: Bryan initially hired a creative agency to develop branded social media templates, but the agency's vision did not align with his objectives.

  • Season 2 Theme: Season 2 aimed to spotlight Black genius, creativity, and leadership in Arts, Culture, Health, and Wellness. Bryan wanted the templates to visually reflect this theme.

The Creative Solution: Evolving Existing Inspiration

  • Leveraging Existing Inspiration: Moore Creative Solutions built upon the initial inspiration provided by the agency, using it as a foundation for creative research.

  • Content Pillars for Season 2: Moore Creative Solutions structured the templates around three content pillars: Education, Participation, and Engagement.

  • Mood Board Development: A mood board was created, incorporating abstract assets, floral elements, shapes, patterns, and vibrant colors inspired by the African diaspora.

  • Sample Instagram Grid: A sample Instagram grid was designed to showcase how these assets would interact visually, ensuring a cohesive and engaging social media presence.
