The Client.
The U.S. Election Assistance Committee (EAC) is an independent, bipartisan commission dedicated to enhancing election administration and increasing voter participation. Key responsibilities include overseeing the national mail voter registration form and ensuring the integrity of the electoral process. Composed of four commissioners appointed by the president and confirmed by the U.S. Senate, the EAC submits annual reports to Congress and provides periodic testimony on the Help America Vote Act (HAVA) and related issues.
Project Objectives.
The primary goal of this project was to assist election officials by providing a comprehensive Social Media Toolkit. This toolkit aimed to streamline the process of creating and sharing social media content related to key election dates and events throughout the 2024 election cycle. The specific objectives were:
Provide a Social Media Toolkit: A common set of dates and images to assist election officials with drafting social media content.
Create a Calendar: Include key dates throughout the 2024 election cycle, including election deadlines, election days, holidays, and other notable dates.
Customize Content: Ensure the social media calendar includes graphics and text customizable to meet the needs of local election offices.
Ensure Consistent Posting: Generate sufficient social media content to create at least 2-3 posts per week.

Customizable Links: Each image includes links to two versions in Canva - one square and one horizontal.
Pre-Written Alt Text: To describe each image on social media platforms.
Sample Post Text: To accompany each graphic.
